Before we all disconnect to celebrate the long holiday weekend with family and friends, we wanted to send out a few important reminders to keep everyone on track as we head into a very busy July.
🎺 Freshman In-Town Band Camp
With an incoming freshman in our own house this year, I know firsthand how exciting this transition into the high school marching band world can be! Here is everything your student needs to know for their first week:
- Dates: Tuesday, July 7 – Thursday, July 9
- Time: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Location: BCHS
- Attire: Athletic shorts, a breathable athletic shirt, and comfortable athletic shoes (no sandals, crocs, or bare feet!).
- Pro-Tip: Please make sure your student brings a large water jug! It is going to be incredibly hot, and staying hydrated is our number one priority.
🤝 We Need Your Help!
We can't pull off a successful camp week without our amazing village of volunteers! We are looking for parents to help us get everything prepped and ready to go behind the scenes each day of Freshman Camp. This will help us get ready for the Out of Town Camp AND the 2026-27 Year as a whole!
Organizing supplies
Cleaning out storage areas
Moving equipment & changing percussion tires out
Sorting uniforms/materials
Connex, Trailer and pit organization
General setup assistance

As we gear up for the season, please make sure the following financial deadlines are on your radar so we can get everything processed smoothly:
- Friday, July 10: Booster PassThru Deadline
- Wednesday, July 15: $300 Camp Fee Deadline
