[CC] 🐾 10/13 Update: Fall Break Rest & A Massive Week Ahead!

We hope everyone is enjoying a well-deserved break this week! Please take this time to recharge, because when we return, we are hitting the ground running!

Starting with the Mountain Ridge festival on October 17th and wrapping up at NAU on the 24th, we have an incredibly busy one-week stretch. To make these events seamless and successful for our students, we need all hands on deck.

Here is the breakdown of the upcoming events and where we need help:

🎺 Volunteers Needed October 17th  Mountain Ridge “Rock the Ridge” Festival

• 📍 Location: Mountain Ridge High School, Glendale AZ
• ⏰ Time: See the itinerary HERE!
• 🍗 Meals: Lunch WILL be provided for the students.  Sandwiches, Salad and Fruit.
• 🎟️ Spectator Info: $10 entry fee per person. Please note the stadium enforces a strict clear bag policy.
• 🌟 Volunteers Needed:  Many hands make light work! Please sign up to help us create a stress-free experience for the students.
  • ✨ Bonus: If you sign up to volunteer at the festival, your entry fee is waived!

🏟️ Volunteers Needed October 20th  DVUSD Marching Band Exhibition 

• 📍 Location: Barry Goldwater High School, Phoenix AZ
• ⏰ Time: See the itinerary HERE!
• 🍗 Meals:WILL NOT be provided for the students.
• 🎟️ Spectator Info: No entry fee! Please note the stadium enforces a strict clear bag policy.
• 🌟 Volunteers Needed:  Come be a part of the DVUSD mid-week band extravaganza—we need your help to make it spectacular!

🏈 Volunteers Needed October 23rd vs Sandra Day O’Conner

• 📍 Location: BCHS Football Field
• ⏰ Time: 7 – 9:30 PM
• 🍗 Meals: Dinner WILL be provided for the students.  Raising Canes, Salad and Fruit.
  • This is Homecoming AND Feeder Night
• Volunteer to help during the game
• Volunteer at the visitor concession stand
  • Students who need NHS (NJHS) or other volunteer hours are encouraged to help out.
• Not sure what each role is & the time commitment? 
  • Review them via our marching-season volunteer role descriptions.

🎺 Volunteers Needed October 24th  NAU Band Day Festival

• 📍 Location: Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff AZ
• ⏰ Time: See the itinerary HERE!
• 🍗 Meals: Lunch WILL NOT be provided for the students.  
  • They will stop AFTER the festival ends and get meals then.  
    • Have them bring money!
• 🎟️ Spectator Info: $10 entry fee per person. Please note the stadium enforces a strict clear bag policy.
• 🌟 Volunteers Needed:  We simply can’t do it without you! Parent volunteers are essential to making this a smooth, successful day for the band.
  • ✨ Bonus: If you sign up to volunteer at the festival, your entry fee is waived!
