Today, our freshmen will begin their high school journey with our In-Town Camp. Guard and Percussion will join them these next few days, so please read through the important updates and action items below to help us get the season started right.
🎺 Rookie In-Town Band Camp (Freshman, Percussion & Guard)
- Dates: Tuesday, July 7 – Thursday, July 9
- Time: 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Location: BCHS
- Attire: Athletic shorts, a breathable athletic shirt, and comfortable athletic shoes (no sandals, Crocs, or bare feet!).
Pro-Tip: Please make sure your student brings a large water jug! The plan is to stay inside as much as possible, but it is still going to be incredibly hot, and staying hydrated is our number one priority.
🎳 Annual Bowling Event
Each year we get all the students together for a bowling event to start building those friendships! Transportation to/from Bowlero is NOT provided from BCHS. Students can carpool to the event or be dropped off by their parents. Pickup time is 8pm.
- Date: Tuesday, July 14
- Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Location: Bowlero Union Hills (3424 W. Union Hills Dr. Phoenix, AZ 85027)
- Cost: $20/student (Pay cash at the door or in advance via Zelle to onlinepayments@bchs.band)
- $20 includes: 2 hours of Bowling, Shoe Rental, Chicken Fingers, Fries, Pizza & Soda. Each student will also receive a $10 Arcade Card.

We are looking for parents to help us get everything prepped and ready to go behind the scenes each day of Freshman Camp. Tasks include organizing supplies, cleaning out storage areas, moving equipment, changing percussion tires, sorting uniforms, and general setup assistance.
Out-of-Town Band Camp Donations
Out-of-town band camp takes a lot of supplies and work. To make it a success, we are asking for your help. Some items we just need to borrow, while others would be donations. Please take a look at the sign-up and see if you can help!

An annual event where band parents can enjoy a meal together before the students go to Prescott on Monday. Come out and meet other band parents!
