Winter Guard

Boulder Creek is proud to offer students additional performance opportunities through our excellent winter guard program. This indoor performance group competes January – March each year in both the Winter Guard Arizona and Winter Guard International Circuits. Students that choose to join this no-cut program will learn dance, flag, rifle and sabre skills starting in December and culminating with the WGAZ state championship in late March.

Boulder Creek’s winter guard has been skyrocketing to the top of the circuit the last few years. In 2019 Boulder Creek received the silver medal in the Scholastic Regional A class. In 2020 the group moved up 2 classification levels and continued their success with 3 finishes in the top 3 and the group’s first ever advancement to a finals competition at WGI Regional.

We are excited to see what the future holds for this program and encourage interested students to attend our free spin clinics held twice each year to see if guard is right for you!
