[CC] 🔥 8/30 Creek Crew: THANK YOU + Next Game! 🏈

Thank you to everyone who showed up in force to help on Friday! Numerous students were overheard saying this is amazing (seeing so many families ready to help). So THANK YOU!

The theme of Friday was HOT 🥵—and I don't just mean we were all slowly melting onto the asphalt! We were on fire on the fundraising front, too 🔥. 

• The 50/50 raffle brought in $170!💸
• Our concession sales raised over $675 for the band 💰. 

While stocking all those snacks did eat into the profit, the massive upside is that we were able to purchase 2 brand new Costco Wagons for the band as a result 🛒🙌. If you’ve seen the old ones lately, you know they were surviving purely on sheer willpower (and duct tape), so these were desperately needed!

We want volunteering to be as smooth as possible, so we are always open to feedback on things like shift timing and duties. As a first step, we are already putting together laminated outlines for each role so you know exactly where to go and what to do!

🏈 Volunteers Needed September 4th

There are plenty of opportunities to support the band before, during, and after the game. Best of all, volunteers receive free admission—no GoFan ticket required!

• Volunteer to help during the game
• Volunteer at the visitor concession stand
  • Students who need NHS (NJHS) or other volunteer hours are encouraged to help out.
• Not sure what each role is & the time commitment? 
  • Review them via our marching-season volunteer role descriptions.

👕 Delivery of Shirt Orders

• We have a few shirt orders left to pickup. If you have NOT received yours, please email secretary@bchs.band with your order number to coordinate a pickup this week. (or you can get them at Fridays game!)

• Corporate sponsorships are one of the best ways we fund the season, but we rely on your local connections to make them happen. 
  • Do you own a local business, or have a good relationship with one you frequent?
• You don't have to be a salesperson—if you can just make a warm introduction, our team will handle the rest! Reach out to fundraising@bchs.band to get the ball rolling.

• Want to make a massive impact for the band without necessarily sweating it out at every event? 
  • We are urgently looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to help monitor our sign-up sheets and ensure spots are filled for upcoming football games and competitions.
  • If you are organized and comfortable sending a few messages to rally the troops, this is the perfect role for you—and much of it can be done right from your computer at home.
